Part-Time Studio Assistant Leo Black Studio — DTLA

Leo Black Studio is looking for two special people to join our small but mighty team!

Who You Are

A natural multitasker who genuinely enjoys working closely within a small team. You are calm under pressure, resourceful, and a natural problem solver. You have a sharp and discerning eye for detail and are genuinely passionate about jewelry and the art of adornment. You are reliable, honest, warm, and professional, and you are open to feedback and able to receive it gracefully.

This is a hands-on, on-the-go role working directly alongside our designer in our DTLA studio. We are a close-knit team that cares deeply about what we do. If you are passionate about jewelry, thrive in a creative environment, and show up with warmth and professionalism, we would love to meet you.

Details

• Location: DTLA, in studio & on the go

• Hours: 2-3 days a week to start, with potential to grow

• Start Date: Flexible

Responsibilities

Customer Service - Client follow ups and communication via email and in person

Studio Tasks/Assistance - Packing and shipping orders, studio organization, sitting in on client consultations, note taking, and supporting Leo directly as needed

Errands - Picking up/dropping off from vendors and casting houses, and collecting from our PO box. Must be comfortable with walking, driving, and light physical tasks

PR - Content creation assistance and newsletter support

Requirements

• Must be located in Los Angeles

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a luxury environment

• Comfortable photographing rings on your hand

• Proficiency in G Suite, social media, and newsletter platforms

• Strong memory

• Spanish speaking is a plus

• Stone knowledge is a plus

• Previous jewelry experience is a plus but not required
